Who We Are

Vibrant Life is a fellowship of people who actively live out the two great commandments of loving God and loving people. We desire to help others come to know and follow Christ to live transformed lives by the power of God. 

We began in 2014 as a small group of 8 people doing life together through Bible study and prayer. In September 2014, we began meeting on Sunday mornings for worship through prayer, praise, and preaching. This marked the start of a new Church connected through faith and fellowship while serving together to lead people to Christ one life at a time. 

The Lord allowed a home in Wylie, Texas to be our first sanctuary. We began with 25 chairs and a handful of people excited about Jesus. After a few months, an increase in membership enabled the search for a new place of worship. In January 2015, the Lord opened a door to begin meeting temporarily at the former location of Sachse Christian Church. It was here that our Spiritual Life Training Ministry was started for children and adults to learn the Bible through systematic study. Later that same year, the Church was informed that the property had been sold and we would need to relocate as soon as possible. However, within a few short weeks, the Lord led the Church to a new location on the campus of Sachse First Baptist, where we ordained Deacon Robert Terrell Johnson and launched our Discipleship Cycle. 

In 2020, our worship service moved from in-person to virtual due to the global pandemic. After isolation, we began searching for a new place to worship face-to-face. Over the next serval years, we established a temporary home in event centers, gymnasiums, and other places of worship. However, in April 2024, Vibrant Life was extended an opportunity to lease property in the City of Wylie as a permanent home for the foreseeable future. We are thankful for our small beginnings and look forward to how GOD writes the new chapter in our story.
